Come to SEAS Expo
The only consumer show in the mid-Atlantic states, SEAS Expo offers the opportunity to check out the latest dive gear, explore dive travel possibilities, attend seminars by nationally renowned speakers and dive professionals, and to meet other divers from across the region. The event is held October 14-15 at the Marriott Civic Center in Durham, NC.
Some of the presenters and their specialties include John Chatterton and Richie Kohler from the History Channel program Deep Sea Detectives; Professor John Morrison from the Center for Marine Science at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW); Underwater Photographer Peter Nawrocky; Capt. Mike Ange, author of Diver Down: Real World Scuba Accidents and How to Avoid Them; Underwater photographer, author and expert on German U-85 Jim Bunch; Rick Allen and Cindy Burnham of Nautilus Productions photo and video company; and many more.
Dive shops and charter operators from both North and South Carolina will be exhibiting at the Expo. These companies can teach you to dive, outfit you with gear, and transport you out to the “Graveyard of the Atlantic” for some of the world’s best diving.
